આઇ.ટી.આઇ (ITI) નો પરિચય આઇ.ટી.આઇ નું પૂરું નામ ઔદ્યોગિક તાલીમ સંસ્થા છે જેને અંગ્રેજીમાં Industrial Training Institute (ITI) કહે છે. આઇ.ટી.આઇ એટલે ઉદ્યોગોને લગતી તાલીમ આપતી સંસ્થા. એક એવી સંસ્થા જ્યાં ઉદ્યોગોને લગતા જરૂરી મેનપાવર પૂરું પાડવું એટલે કે વિવિધ ટેકનીકલ તેમજ નોન-ટેકનીકલ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીઝ અને ઉદ્યોગોમાં જરૂર પડતા મેન પાવરને તૈયાર કરવામાં આવે છે. આઇ.ટી.આઇ સંસ્થામાં વિવિધ એન્જીનીયરીંગ અને નોન-એન્જીનીયરીંગ કોર્ષમાં તાલીમ આપવામાં આવે છે. આઇ.ટી.આઇ ખાતે ચાલતા રેગ્યુલર કોર્ષ (વ્યવસાય) નો સમયગાળો ૧ વર્ષ અને ૨ વર્ષ હોય છે. તેના સિવાય જરૂરિયાત મુજબ શોર્ટ ટર્મ (૧ વર્ષથી ઓછા સમયના) કોર્ષ પણ ચાલતા હોય છે. આઇ.ટી.આઇ ખાતે ચાલતા કોર્ષ : આઇ.ટી.આઇ ખાતે મુખ્ય બે પ્રકારના કોર્ષ ચાલે છે : એનસીવીટી (NCVT) અને જીસીવીટી (GCVT).
