CEIR Portal

The easiest way to trace and block / unblock your lost or stolen phone is through 'CEIR Portal'.

Have you ever heard about this portal ?? If not then let me give you some details:

CEIR : 'Central Equipment Identity Register'

CEIR is the citizen centric portal developed by the Department of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Communications, Governement of India.

Its main uses are:

Block/Unblock Mobile devices

(1) You can block the lost/stolen mobile devices.

(2)  If anyone tries to use the blocked mobile phone, its traceability is generated. You can trace the lost/stolen mobile devices.

(3) Once your mobile phone is found, it may be unblocked on the portal for its normal use.

Just you have to do is, fill the form and submit.

IMEI Verification

By using IMEI number through Know Your Mobile (KYM), you can check the validity of your mobile device even before buying it.

If the status of the mobile is shown as Black-listed, duplicate or already in use, please do not buy the mobile.

You can verify IMEI through SMS, KYM App or Web Portal. So Simple..!!
