Samudrayaan Mission dubbed as ‘Matsya 6000’ : India's aim for Deap Sea Exploration After successful Lunar landing, India aims for another audacious expedition -  Project Samudrayaan . This mission is a part of the Comprehensive Deep Ocean Mission, which promotes the 'Blue Economy' vision of our honourable PM Narendra Modi. The Government of India approves budget of approximately Rs.4077 Crores for the Deep Ocean Mission of which approx. Rs.1400 Crores are already allocated for the project. Recently Union Minister of State for Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh said in a statement that the trials for ISRO's Gaganyaan missions will start in October and the second phase of the mission will launch a female space-faring humanoid robot  Vyommitra.
