ISRO's U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) invites the youth of India for innovative ideas and designs of robotic rovers for future missions through ‘ISRO Robotics Challenge, URSC-2024’ acronym 'IRoC-U 2024'.

ISRO URSC 2024: Space Robotics Event for Students
Space Robotics Event for Students

To encourage innovative solutions in the field of space robotics among students across the country, ISRO has planned to organize "ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024)" with the tagline "Let's build a space robot."

The solutions provided by the students in IRoC-U 2024 have a higher probability of being incorporated into ISRO's future interplanetary robotics missions. IRoC-U 2024 is an engineering project where institutional teams build robots to compete in an extra-terrestrial inspired arena, performing tasks based on the real-life challenges faced by space robotics. It is being planned as a platform for co-development of technologies in the area of space robotics through organizing challenges.
