"Indus Appstore: Empowering India's App Ecosystem" Bengaluru based PhonePe , a Digital Payment Company backed by Walmart, has recently announced its upcoming launch of it Made in India Appstore , named ‘ Indus ’. The company has invited Android App developers to register and upload their Apps on the platform for zero platform fee or commissions on in-app purchases. Indus: India's Own Appstore During first year, PhonePe will not charge developers any listing fee and from the following year, a nominal cost will be charged. Furthermore, no commission will not levied on in-app purchases. In Comparison, Google currently charges up to $25 fee for listing and takes a commission of 15%-30% on in-app purchases. Additionally, Google and Apple require the use of their payment gateway for in-app purchases.
