ISRO is conducting the Young Scientist Programme - Yuva Vigyani Karyakram, Yuvika. ISRO has named this initiative 'Catch them Young'. Recently, as per the news,  Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) transfers the Smart Food Grain Storage System (SAFEETY) technology to Paras Defense and Space Technology Ltd. This has been announced in a statement by Meity during the inauguration of the "Digital India FutureLABS Summit 2024" at IIIT-Delhi. Smart Food Grain Storage System of India (image is for illustration purpose only) About Smart Food Grain Storage System (SAFEETY) SAFEETY was developed by the Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) under MeitY's guidance. It offers features such as conveyorized loading and unloading of grain bags with RFID traceability, online weight and moisture measurement, and Radio Frequency Based Removal of Moisture from Grain. This advanced system is capable of handling approximately 28 tons of grains, equivalent to one truckload, in just 40 minutes.
